Release Notes Site
You can find all the release notes and release dates for the Verba Platform at the releases.verba.com site.
The latest Verba release is VFC Capture (Verba) 9.8 (see latest documentation).
We are also maintaining archived versions of documentation of earlier releases since 7.0.
Verba publishes one new major release roughly every ~18 months. New minor versions including new features and fixes are released approximately every ~4-6 months. Service releases are published every ~1-2 months containing fixes.
At releases.verba.com you can see:
- the old release notes
- release notes for the current release
- in-progress release notes for the upcoming public build, that shows changes not yet published, this gives you the possibility to peek into the progress of the latest bug fixes and improvements
Our version numbers consist of three parts: <major version>.<minor version>.<service release number>.<build number> (e.g. 188.8.131.525). The build number can become fairly large since we are automatically building new versions of the entire software platform multiple times every week, so our testing and integration teams can work with the latest updates.
The support and maintenance cycles for all major versions can be found in the following article (Registration required):
Financial Compliance - Product Life Cycle - Support - Verint Connect
This information might change with a 9-12 month notice. If you would like to get notifications, don't hesitate to get in touch with your Verint representative.
Verba supports each major release for a minimum 36 months, during this period customers with valid maintenance agreements are eligible for minor updates and bug fixes for the specified version.
