Translating Communications Analytics (formerly Intelligent Voice) insights

Verint Communications Analytics (formerly Intelligent Voice) insights are generated in English, but you can configure VFC to translate them to a selected language.

The following languages are supported by default:

  • Danish

  • Finnish

  • Norwegian

  • Swedish

To configure a different language to be used with this feature, contact you Communications Analytics account manager.

The insights associated with a conversation can only be translated to a single language, and all insights are translated to the same language. If activity summaries and meeting notes and actions are configured to be sent to the email addresses of users, the emails contain both the English and translated insight contents.

If Insight translation is configured, the default view of the insight content shows the translated language, but you can switch between the translated content and the original, English content.

The languages spoken in the conversations and translated transcripts do not impact insight translation.

Prerequisites

Configure the data management policy for insight translation

  1. In the VFC web application, under Data, select Data Management Policies.

  2. Select the speech transcription data management policy.

  3. Select a language for the Translate Insights setting.

  4. Click Save.
