Description:

Could not connect to Failover Partner for at least 600 seconds.

Cause

This alert is generated when the following situation occurs:

  • The Cisco JTAPI service runs on two servers in a high-availability pair configuration,

  • the server configuration specifies the other server as a failover partner for use in selective recording rules, and

  • the service cannot contact the other server on which the failover partner service runs.

Resolution

If this alert is generated with the General Alerts: Connection up alert , then the disruption was temporary.

If you do not receive the Connection up alert, verify that the network connection between the VFC servers is intact.
