Conversation Notes and Actions

Verint Communications Analytics (formerly Intelligent Voice) offers the ability to create meeting actions and meeting minutes from the transcripts of recorded conversations using a Large Language Model (LLM). VFC can be configured to show these meeting minutes and actions in the Player.

Prerequisites

Follow Configuring Verint Communications Analytics for VFC 10 Insights to configure your Communications Analytics deployment for this feature.

Your system must have the following licenses enabled:

  • A license for the VFC Communications Analytics integration:

    • Verint FC Communications Profiling Speech, or

    • Verint FC Communications Profiling Speech Advanced, or

    • Verint FC Communications Risk Profiling Speech

  • Notes and Actions

Voice diarization must be enabled for the Communications Analytics data processor, or channel-separated audio must be configured for the recording.

Configure meeting minute and action generation for a user role

You can configure meeting minute and action generation for the conversations of selected users by using roles.

  1. In the VFC web application, under Users, select Roles.

  2. Create a new role or select an existing role.

  3. Under the Execute Bot Prompts section, select one or both of the following settings:

    1. Meeting Actions

    2. Meeting Minutes

  4. Click Save.

The conversations of all users with this role get meeting minutes and actions generated.

Configure meeting minute and action view privileges for a user role

You can configure which users can view conversation minutes and actions by using roles.

  1. In the VFC web application, under Users, select Roles.

  2. Create a new role or select an existing role.

  3. Under the Access Bot Prompt Results section, select one or both of the following settings:

    1. Meeting Actions

    2. Meeting Minutes

  4. Click Save.

All users with this role can view meeting actions and minutes generated for conversations.

View meeting minutes and actions

  1. Open a conversation in the Player.

  2. Select the Notes and Actions tab.

Configure sending meeting minutes and actions to an email address

  1. Configure the Speech Transcription data management policy:

    1. In the VFC web application, under Data, select Data Management Policies.

    2. Create or select an existing Data Management Policy configured for the Speech Transcription action.

    3. Select Yes for Enable Sending Prompt Results by Email.

    4. Click Save.

  2. Configure the user roles that can receive the transcript email:

    1. In the VFC web application, under Users, select Roles.

    2. Create a new role or select an existing role.

    3. Under the Email Bot Prompt Results section, select one or both of the following settings:

      1. Meeting Actions

      2. Meeting Minutes

    4. Click Save.
