Conversation Activity Summaries
Available from vFC 10.0.0
Verint Communications Analytics (formerly Intelligent Voice) offers the ability to provide enhanced summaries from the transcripts of recorded conversations using a Large Language Model (LLM). VFC can be configured to show these summaries in the Player.
Prerequisites
Follow Configuring Verint Communications Analytics for VFC 10 Insights to configure your Communications Analytics deployment for this feature.
Your system must have the following licenses enabled:
A license for the VFC Communications Analytics integration:
Verint FC Communications Profiling Speech, or
Verint FC Communications Profiling Speech Advanced, or
Verint FC Communications Risk Profiling Speech
Activity Summary
If the system is not licensed for this feature, the Player shows the default transcription summary instead of the advanced summaries. The default summary is available as part of your base Communications Analytics license, and can be seen on the Sentiment and Topics tab of the Player.
Configure conversation activity summary generation for a user role
You can configure activity summary generation for the conversations of selected users by using roles.
In the VFC web application, under Users, select Roles.
Create a new role or select an existing role.
Under the Execute Bot Prompts section, select one or both of the following settings:
Activity Summary – Compliance Insights
Activity Summary – Financial Insights
Click Save.
The conversations of all users with this role get conversation activity summaries generated.
Configure conversation activity summaries view privileges for a user role
You can configure which users can view conversation activity summaries by using roles.
In the VFC web application, under Users, select Roles.
Create a new role or select an existing role.
Under the Access Bot Prompt Results section, select one or both of the following settings:
Activity Summary – Compliance Insights
Activity Summary – Financial Insights
Click Save.
All users with this role can view activity summaries generated for conversations.
View conversation activity summaries
Open a conversation in the Player.
Open the Summary tab.
Configure sending meeting minutes and actions to an email address
Configure the Speech Transcription data management policy:
In the VFC web application, under Data, select Data Management Policies.
Create or select an existing Data Management Policy configured for the Speech Transcription action.
Select Yes for Enable Sending Prompt Results by Email.
Click Save.
Configure the user roles that can receive the transcript email:
In the VFC web application, under Users, select Roles.
Create a new role or select an existing role.
Under the Email Bot Prompt Results section, select one or both of the following settings:
Activity Summary – Compliance Insights
Activity Summary – Financial Insights
Click Save.
